In February, Orlando’s housing market saw another leap in median price and a slight increase in home sales compared to February 2017. The overall number of homes available for purchase fell once again. The annual median price of a home in Orlando in February was $228,000, which is a 10% jump compared to February 2017. A total of 2,497 homes sold during the month, a marginal increase of 1% compared to last year. The limited number of homes available for sale in Orlando remains a significant challenge for would-be buyers who have limited options to select from compared to February 2017. The number of homes on the market has dropped by 9%, with only 7,706 homes currently available for sale.
