In January, Orlando’s Housing Market saw another leap in median price and a slight increase in home sales compared to January 2017. The overall number of homes available for purchase fell once again. The annual median price of a home in Orlando in January was $225,000, which is a 13% jump compared to January 2017. A total of 2,225 homes sold during the month – a marginal increase of .5% compared to last year. The limited number of homes available in Orlando remains a significant challenge for would-be buyers who have limited options to select from. Compared to January 2017, the number of homes on the market has dropped by 11%, with only 7,604 homes currently available for sale.
