During the month of August, Orlando’s Housing Market once again saw its year-over-year median price increase. Meanwhile, both the number of home sales and the inventory of homes available for purchase experienced declines compared to the same time last year. The Annual Median Price of a home in Orlando in August was $231,000, which is a 3% jump compared to August 2017. A total of 3,374 homes sold during the month, which is a decrease of about 6% compared to last year. Would-be buyers continue to be challenged by the limited number of homes available for sale in Orlando. Compared to August 2017, the number of homes in the market has dropped by 12%, with only 7,808 homes currently available for sale.
