During the month of July, Orlando’s housing market once again saw its median price jump when compared to July 2017. The number of home sales remained about the same, while inventory dropped quite a bit compared to the same time last year. The annual median price of a home in Orlando in July was $235,000, which is a 7% jump compared to July 2017. A total of 3,383 of homes sold during the month, which is an increase of less than 1% compared to last year. Would-be buyers continue to be challenged by the limited number of homes currently available for sale in Orlando compared to July 2017. The number of homes in the market has dropped by 17%, with only 7,525 homes currently available for sale.
