During the month of May , Orlando’s housing market once again saw its median price jump when compared to May 2017. However, both home sales and inventory dropped compared to the same time last year. The annual median price of a home in Orlando in May was $234,000, which is a 7% jump compared to May 2017. A total of 3,407 homes sold during the month, a decrease of 11% compared to last year. Would-be buyers continue to be challenged by the limited number of homes available for sale in Orlando. Compared to May 2017, the number of homes on the market has dropped by 15% with only 7,486 homes currently available for sale.
