During July, several months of paused transactions created a surge of buyer activity that tipped Orlando home sales into the black. Median price continued on its upward path while inventory fell to its lowest level this year. A total of 3,679 homes sold during the month, a tally that is 1% more than the 3,628 sales in July 2019.
The median price of an Orlando home sold in July was $270,000, which is a 9% increase compared to July 2019.
Would be buyers continue to be challenged by the limited number of homes available for sale in Orlando. Compared to July 2019, the number of homes on the market decreased by 22%. Compared to last month, there are 5% fewer properties available. There are currently 6,220 homes for sale.
