Who We Are
Jean Scott Homes is a team of eight people serving Central Florida homebuyers and sellers since 2007. While we are best known as REALTORS, this publication reflects our commitment to providing useful, original content about the communities we serve.
Our team does not just sell homes. We also research communities, track market trends, and write about the neighborhoods we know firsthand. That means visiting, photographing, and getting to know every area we cover.

Tom manages the operations of the business, all of its technology systems, jeanscotthomes.com, and the editorial content published here. He builds our data tools, writes our privacy policy, and reviews everything before it goes live. Before transitioning to real estate technology, Tom spent 24 years as a pharmacist.
Jean Scott — Lead REALTOR, Team Leader
Jean is our lead agent, team leader, and the founder of Jean Scott Homes. She works directly with clients buying and selling homes across Central Florida. Jean does not manage the website or its technology.

How We Work
We write our own content. When we cover a community, we are writing from firsthand knowledge, having lived in Central Florida since 1988 and the Orlando area since 1996. We talk to people buying and selling homes in the community. Our team does its own research, checks the data, and never copies from other websites or uses content farms.
In addition, our technology — from the phone system to the data analysis tools — is built in-house by our team. We use these tools to provide better, faster service to our clients and to produce accurate market information for our readers.
