- Runs the compute that syncs our Cloudflare and Salesforce databases.
- JeanScottHomes.com will be transitioning to Astro and 100% on Cloudflare later this year.
- Salesforce – Our contact relationship management system. They are the enterprise CRM providers to the enterprise. Enterprise level security.
- Microsoft – Outlook email and SharePoint cloud storage for real estate original source transaction records. Enterprise level security.
- Twilio – Connection to the public telephone network. Enterprise level security.
When you call, text, or email Jean Scott Homes, you rest assured that your call and text records are stored securely in Cloudflare and Salesforce datacenters. Your emails and transaction records are secure in a Microsoft Azure datacenter. The notes our agents write about your conversations and real estate transactions are secure in a Salesforce datacenter.
Additionally, when you call Jean Scott Homes, you couldn’t have a faster and better quality connection. Your call gets routed to Twilio running the Amazon datacenter in Virginia, then 5 miles down the road to the Cloudflare datacenter that runs our phone software, out to our team members’ phones. We hope you have a good experience calling us.
The security of your data is first and foremost top priority to us at Jean Scott Homes. Without security and trust, the rest doesn’t matter.
What We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
- Contact forms — Your name, phone number, email address, and any message you type into our website forms (powered by Gravity Forms).
- Property searches — If you sign up for listing alerts, we share your name and email with Stellar MLS or our IDX provider, iHomeFinder. We use both systems — typically MLS for homebuyers who are actively searching, and iHomeFinder for buyers who are just browsing — so you receive new-listing notifications that match what you are looking for. If you create a registered account on our website through iHomeFinder, your property searches and the pages you visit on our site may be tracked so we can better understand what you are looking for and serve you more effectively. Your search activity may also be visible to us through our Stellar MLS account as part of the listing alert service.
- Phone calls — When you call us or we call you, the call is recorded. You will always hear a brief message letting you know. We record calls so our team can provide you exceptional service. Call recordings may be transcribed and summarized using Google Vertex AI to help our team follow up with you accurately. These transcripts and summaries are stored securely in our Cloudflare D1 database and are never sent back to Google or used by Google for any purpose.
- Public records — As part of our real estate services, we may access publicly available records such as property ownership, tax records, and other information available under Florida’s public records laws. This is standard practice in real estate and helps us serve you accurately.
- Safety verification — For the safety of our team members and the security of our systems, we may verify identity information using publicly available records before in-person meetings such as home showings. This verification is used solely for safety and fraud prevention, is not used for marketing or lead generation, and is not shared with any third party.
We never ask for Social Security numbers, financial account information, or anything else that we don’t need to have to serve you. We may ask about your budget for a home purchase and whether you are pre-approved for a mortgage. This helps us show you homes that best meet you and your family’s needs. A pre-approval letter is only required if you want to actively tour homes for sale or submit an offer to a seller. Otherwise, sharing that information is entirely optional.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to your inquiry or set up a property search for you.
- To send you listing alerts you asked for — and only the ones you asked for.
- To improve our website and understand how visitors use it (see Cookies and Analytics below).
That is it. We do not send marketing blasts. We do not sell leads. We do not share your information with other agents, other brokerages, or anyone else — period.
When We Share Your Information (With Your Permission)
If you are buying or selling a home with us, we will share the contract and your contact information — with your express permission — with the parties involved in your transaction:
- The title company (chosen by the home seller)
- Your mortgage lender (chosen by you)
- Your home inspector (chosen by you)
- WG Transactions, our transaction management company, which helps us manage contracts and the closing process so you close on time. WG Transactions guarantees that client information is strictly confidential and may not be disclosed to any third party without written consent.
If you are relocating outside of our service area, we may refer you to a trusted real estate agent in your destination city — but only with your express permission. We will never share your contact information with another person without your express written or verbal consent.
None of these parties receive your information unless you are actively working with us and have given us permission to share it.
Who Can See Your Information
Your information is private to our team. Not even Keller Williams Advantage Realty, our brokerage, or its corporate headquarters, Keller Williams International, has access to your data. It is the policy of Jean Ann Scott, LLC (DBA Jean Scott Homes) that team members access client information only when serving you directly and only on a minimum-necessary basis.
We use a small number of trusted, enterprise-grade services to run our business. Each one stores your data securely, does not sell it, and acts as a data processor on our behalf — meaning we own your data, not them:
- Flywheel — Hosts our website. Your form submissions and website data are stored on Flywheel’s managed WordPress servers.
Flywheel Privacy Policy - Salesforce — Our customer relationship management system. Your contact information lives here so our team can serve you. Salesforce encrypts data at rest and in transit and is SOC II and ISO 27001 certified.
Salesforce Privacy Policy - Twilio — Powers our phone system. Call and SMS logs, call recordings, and message content are managed through Twilio’s platform, as with any telecommunications provider. Twilio may also retain call recordings and transcripts on their servers. Additionally, copies are stored securely in our Cloudflare D1 and R2 databases. Twilio does not sell personal data.
Twilio Privacy Policy - Cloudflare — Provides DNS, security, and performance for our website. Cloudflare also hosts our secure databases where call and SMS records, call recordings, transcripts, summaries, and CRM data used by our phone system and AI tools are stored. Cloudflare does not sell your data and processes only what is needed. Our contact forms use Cloudflare Turnstile instead of traditional CAPTCHAs.
Cloudflare Privacy Policy - iHomeFinder (Optima Express) — Provides MLS listing data through a subscription with Stellar MLS. It also provides the property search and listing alert features on our website. If you create an account or sign up for alerts, iHomeFinder stores that information on their servers.
iHomeFinder Privacy Policy - Stellar MLS — The Multiple Listing Service for Central Florida. When you sign up for listing alerts, your name and email address are shared with Stellar MLS so you can receive property notifications.
Stellar MLS Privacy Policy - Google Vertex AI — We use Google’s Vertex AI to transcribe and summarize phone calls and to summarize contact records for our team’s internal reference, so we can serve you accurately. This processing happens within our own secured environment. Your data is not used by Google to train AI models, is not shared with Google for marketing or analytics, and is not accessible to Google for any purpose beyond processing our request.
Google Cloud Privacy Notice
None of these providers sell your data or use it in any way to benefit their own businesses — no marketing, no AI training, no profiling. They process it on our behalf and that is all.
Cookies and Analytics
Like most websites, ours uses cookies — small files stored in your browser — to keep things running smoothly.
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use our site (which pages are popular, how long visitors stay, and so on). Google Analytics collects anonymous usage data through cookies. It does not collect your name, email, or phone number. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google.
If you arrived at our website by clicking a Google ad, Google Ads may use a click identifier (GCLID) to track that your visit came from one of our advertisements. This helps us understand which ads are working. If you then fill out a contact form or call us, we may report back to Google that the ad click resulted in an inquiry — but Google only learns that a conversion happened, not who you are. Google does not receive your name, phone number, or any information you enter into our forms.
You can opt out of Google Analytics at any time by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-On.
You can also disable cookies in your browser settings, though some website features may not work as expected.
What We Will Never Do

- Share your data with other real estate agents, brokerages, or third-party advertisers without your express permission.
- Send you emails you did not ask for.
- Bury important information in thousands of words of legal jargon.
Your Rights
You are in control of your data. At any time, you can:
- Ask us what information we have about you.
- Ask us to correct or delete your information.
- Unsubscribe from listing alerts (there is a link in every email).
- Unsubscribe from all call and text message communications.
- Ask us to stop contacting you entirely.
