During the month of September, Orlando’s housing market once again saw its year over year median price increase. The number of home sales also increased compared to the same time last year while the inventory of homes available for purchase experienced a decline. The annual median price of a home in Orlando in September was $233,000, which is a 4% jump compared to September 2017. A total of 2,768 homes sold during the month, which is an increase of about 8% compared to last year. Would-be buyers continue to be challenged by the limited number of homes available for sale in Orlando. Compared to September 2017, the number of homes in the market has dropped by 6%, with only 8,092 homes currently available for sale.
