Seminole County Public Schools boasts as one of the more recognized school districts in the country, ranking 60th nationally, and has been awarded the honor of being a Premier National School District, according to the SCPS Website. Ranked the 12th largest school district in the state, SCPS takes time and care to prepare its students for life after high school and in the workforce with a 94.5% graduation rate and 41 years of producing SAT results that have far exceeded the national average. As ranked by the Florida Department of Education, SCPS was an “A”-rated district for the 2018-2019 school year, ranked #1 in the state for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math), and had more than $58 million awarded in scholarships to seniors schools. graduating in 2019.
