The Orlando Regional REALTOR Association dropped its newest State of the Market update.

During the month of October 2022, the Orlando housing market inventory experienced a significant increase compared to the same month last year. In addition, the median price increased while sales decreased. A total of 2,716 homes were sold during the month, a tally of 28 percent less than the 3,760 sales in the same month during 2021.

The median price of an Orlando home sold in October 2022 was $365,000, which is a 12 percent increase compared to the same month last year.

The limited number of homes available for sale in Orlando is still a challenge for buyers compared to the same month in 2021. The number of homes on the market increased by 109%. Compared to last month, there are 4% more properties available. There are currently 7,128 homes listed for sale.

In addition, the median price increased while sales decreased. A total of 2,717 homes sold during the month, a tally that is 28 percent less than the 3,789 sales in the same month during 2021.

The median price of an Orlando home sold in September 2022 was $365,000, which is a 15% increase compared to the same month last year.

The limited number of homes available for sale in Orlando is still a challenge for buyers compared to the same month in 2021. The number of homes on the market increased by 88%. Compared to last month, there are two percent more properties available. There are currently 6,884 homes listed for sale. The limited number of homes available for sale in Orlando is still a challenge for buyers. Compared to the same month in 2021, the number of homes on the market increased by 76%. Compared to last month, there are 41% more properties available. There are currently 5,367 homes listed for sale.
