💖 Supporting Central Florida Through Charitable Giving

Charitable giving is part of who we are at Jean Scott Homes. Whether we’re hosting food drives, volunteering on RED Day, or supporting local nonprofits, our goal is simple. We want to strengthen the Central Florida community we call home. Each transaction helps, as we donate a portion of our profit and contribute time to causes that truly matter.
📦 Twice-Yearly Food Drives with HOPE Helps
Since 2011, we’ve partnered with HOPE Helps to organize biannual food drives. Every spring and fall, we team up with Hagerty High School’s Spanish Honor Society and generous residents of Live Oak Reserve and The Sanctuary.
Together, we collect hundreds of bags of food to help families in need. For example, in 2024, our spring food drive at The Sanctuary delivered 88 full bags of groceries to HOPE. This support came just in time to help families during spring break. Every donation matters. Every can makes a difference.
🔴 RED Day: One Day. One Mission. Every Year.
RED Day—short for Renew, Energize, and Donate—is Keller Williams’ annual day of service. It takes place every second Thursday in May. Since the beginning (with a pause in 2020), we’ve been all in.
Over the years, our team has helped clean up hurricane-damaged areas like Camp Mah-Kah-Wee and landscaped at Boys Town Oviedo. These projects let us work side-by-side with our KW colleagues and neighbors.
In 2025, we returned to Boys Town. With teamwork, sweat, and a lot of heart, we refreshed the outdoor space for the families who live there. We are proud to keep showing up—and to keep giving where we live.

🟩 Charitable Giving Beyond Red Day and Food Drives
Our support doesn’t stop there. We’re committed to supporting families and the communities we serve. Through these efforts, we’ve helped raise thousands of dollars to support our neighbors in need. Most importantly, we show up year after year to lend a hand where it counts.
🎁 Past Highlights (2011–2019)
Although we’ve archived some of our older write-ups, the impact remains. A few milestones worth celebrating include:
- 🥫 Food Drives: Between 2011 and 2019, we collected more than 5,600 pounds of food across Oviedo neighborhoods.
- 🎨 2018 RED Day: Helped restore Camp Mah-Kah-Wee in Chuluota after hurricane and wildfire damage.
- 🌳 2019 RED Day: Beautified Boys Town Oviedo alongside our Keller Williams Advantage team.
Even though those events are behind us, they continue to shape who we are and how we serve.
