Published February 15, 2021 for January 2021 Sales

During the first month of 2021, the Orlando housing market remained strong with increased sales and home prices. Inventory, on the other hand, dropped once again compared to last year.

A total of 2,727 homes sold during the month, a tally that is 20 percent more than the 2,270 sales in January 2020.

The median price of an Orlando home sold in January 2021 was $275,000, which is a 12 percent increase compared to the same month last year.

The limited number of homes available for sale in Orlando is still a challenge for buyers. Compared to January 2020, the number of homes on the market decreased by almost forty percent. Compared to last month, there are 12 percent fewer properties available. There are currently 4,233 homes listed for sale.
